Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has unveiled the first look at her forthcoming movie, ‘The Four’ announcing that it will premiere in cinemas on Friday, 11 December, 2026.
She made the announcement on Monday, 31 August, 2026 via her official X handle, @funkeakindele, describing the project as a story of different faces, different battles and different tales.
“Here’s a little glimpse into the world of The Four — the friendship, the laughter, the tension, the secrets and everything in between,” she wrote.
Akindele noted that every character carries a distinct story, adding that each moment in the film holds significance.
“Every face has a story. Every moment means something. And this is only the beginning,” she said, before confirming the release date: “THE FOUR — in cinemas December 11.”
She accompanied the post with the hashtags #TheFour, #NoOneFightsAlone, #FunkeAkindeleNetwork and #FunkeAkindeleFilm.
