President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s proposed bills on the establishment of State Police, which was recently passed by both Senate and House of Representatives, have been receiving praises from Nigerians in different walks of life.

Several NGOs, including professional Nigerians home and diaspora, have thrown their weights behind the present government led by Bola Tinubu.

One of Nigeria’s foremost group of concerned citizens, Young Professionals For Tinubu (YP4T), in a statement, described the security measures taken by the government as timely and much-desired.

According to the National Coordinator of YP4T, Hon. Alex Oware, the decision of the government to expand the Nigerian Army from the current eight Divisions to twelve Divisions, was a smart and timely move. Adding that the additional 4 divisions which increases Nigerian Army personnel by 28,000 troops, adds more strength and vitality to the fight against insurgents and bandits.

“We also commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the planned introduction of 139,000 Forest Guards to police Nigeria’s forests and woodlands, where bandits often hide. And already, almost 10,000 have been deployed.

“These are some of the very important reforms on security. And indeed, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has once again showed that Nigeria is in good hands.

“Young Professionals For Tinubu, have implicit confidence in this government. We know that a safe and secured environment, helps to build a progressive and prosperous nation,” Oware noted.
