Gunmen at about n12:30 am on Wednesday, 5 February, 2025 invaded Tsiga community in Bakori local government area of Katsina State, kidnapped a retired Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga and several residents.
General Tsiga served as the director general of the National Youths Service Corps between January 2009 and September 2011.
It was also gathered that relevant security agencies have been contacted and efforts have already been put in place to rescue the kidnapped victims and apprehend the criminals
As at the time of filing this report, Katsinaq State Police State Command has yet to comment on the development
