Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has flatly denied fathering a child with a Tanzanian woman identified as Musika, saying he has never been physically intimate with her and that the matter has been handed to legal authorities for further action.
Jux broke his silence days after he and his wife, Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, celebrated the first birthday of their son, Rakeem, saying the allegation had surfaced previously but he chose to address it publicly after it began involving his name, family and businesses.
He said he reached out directly to Musika to understand why she had made the claims and that her response settled the question. “Musika confirmed in her own words and voice that she had never been physically intimate with me nor had a romantic relationship with me,” Jux said.
He said the allegation has since resurfaced and the matter is now in the hands of legal authorities, with further action to be taken against Musika.
He warned the media and members of the public against spreading what he described as misleading information about the allegation.
Jux said he would handle the matter entirely through legal channels, stating that he had chosen calmness, truth and the appropriate legal steps as his response to the claims.
