The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) female football team has won state Head of Service Cup for female football at the 19th HoS Games reports thegazellenews.com
The LASUBEB defeated their counterparts from the Public Service Office 1-0 at the final match played at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, Onikan, Lagos.

The Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr Hakeem Babatunde Shittu expressed excitement on the win adding that the 10th Edition of the HOS Games brought together Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in a unifying display of talent, wellness and camaraderie.
He added that LASUBEB’s win stands as a testament to the Board’s determination to lead both on and off the field.
His words “As a Board saddled with the responsibility of quality free basic Education in the State. We will remain committed to championing initiatives that inspire teachers and learners, elevate morale, and strengthen the spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship within the public service and Public Primary Schools.
“Our activities not only focus on cognitive and affective parts of learning but include the pyscho-motor aspect of learning”.
The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat, who was the Specials Guest of Honour, presented the cup to the captain of the winning team.
