Nollywood actor and comedian, Arole, has urged Nigerians to focus on the lives they impact and the people they help rather than the material wealth they accumulate.
Arole made the call in a post on his X handle,@OfficialARole, on Monday, 31 August, 2026 stressing that a person’s true legacy is measured by the positive difference made in the lives of others.
“Life is not about what you have!!!!! It’s about what you give!!!!!” he wrote.
He asked his followers to reflect on the number of lives they had impacted and people they had helped, rather than the cars and houses they owned.
“How many lives have you impacted? How many people have you helped?” Arole asked.
He added that material possessions would lose their significance after death, while the impact made on others would endure.
“Your cars and houses don’t count when you’re no more!!!!! It’s your IMPACT here that will be felt!!!!……..” he said.
Arole’s message called for a shift from the pursuit of material wealth to service, generosity and meaningful contributions to the lives of others.
He stressed that the lasting measure of a person’s life is the impact left behind, not the possessions accumulated.
