The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and current Governor of Oyo State on Monday, 21 September, 2026 declared that he will defeat the incumbent president, Bola Tinubu, in the 2027 presidential election, reports thegazellenews.com
Makinde spoke on Monday while receiving some members of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), from different parts of the state who joined the APM, explained that he would triumph over Tinubu in the election because God, the people of the state and Nigerians in general are behind the party.
While stating that he would win the forthcoming presidential election and defeat Tinubu in 2027, Makinde also advised the APC candidate to stop criticising his administration.
“God has signed off on what we are doing, and that is why it is raining.
“Today, we are welcoming thousands of APC members into the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), and this shows that our victory is only a matter of time. We will win massively in all elections in 2027,” APM presidential candidate said.
