A Chicago teenager, Dorothy Jean Tillman has just created an academic record by becoming the youngest person in the world to obtain a PHD doctorate at the age of 17.
Dorothy started her education pursuit when she enrolled at the College of Lake Country majoring in Psychology at the very tender age of 10.
At the age of 14, Dorothy Jean Tillman had obtained an associate diploma, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the Unity College. That was in 2020.
At the age of 15 in 2021, she was accepted into the Doctor of Behavioural Health Management programme at the Arizona State University where she eventually became the youngest PhD holder in 2024.
