A mother of two has been abducted in Ibadan by suspected kidnappers, reports thegazellenews.com.
Mrs. Ibukun Otesile, a mother of two, was kidnapped on Thursday, 4 December, 2025, in front of her home at General Gas area, Akobo neighbourhood, Ibadan.

She is the daughter of Reverend Dr. Lekan Babatunde, a respected Christian leader in Nigeria.
In a voice filled with fear and urgency, Dr. Olamide Olanrewaju, Personal Assistant and Media Aide to the outgoing Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Oyo State, shared that the incident occured around 8:00 p.m. as Mrs. Otesile was stepping through her doorway, only to be seized by unseen hands.

“The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) pleads with the Nigerian Army Headquarters and the Nigeria Police Force to mobilize every resource to secure her immediate release.
“The family, along with CAN and all well-meaning Nigerians, earnestly requests that information about her whereabouts be shared far and wide and relayed to the appropriate security authorities,” Dr Olanrewaju said.
The Oyo State Police Command in Eleyele has been alerted and is actively involved, but as at the time of writing this report, there are no further details about the attackers or any demands. Security agencies have also not released an official statement.
