The Kebbi state chapter of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), on Sunday, 21 December, 2025, convened its annual general meeting at its head office in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

The meeting drew an impressive turnout of association members, business stakeholders, supporters and political representatives, and was held in a peaceful and cordial atmosphere.

Addressing participants, the Women Leader of the association, Hon. Safiya Musa Bena, said the chapter had made measurable progress in the import and export of goods, particularly in the handling of government-approved consignments aimed at enhancing commercial activities within the state.

She explained that while the achievements might appear modest, they marked significant strides for both members of the association and the government’s efforts to promote trade and economic development.

Bena commended the Kebbi State Government for its sustained support and cooperation with the association, noting that such collaboration had been instrumental to the successes recorded.

She also lauded the Chairman of the association in the state for his dedication, resilience and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of NAGAFF in Kebbi.

In her closing remarks, Bena wished all participants a safe journey back to their respective destinations and prayed for continued unity and progress within the association.
