Former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Oluyinka Ogundimu has congratulated Secretary of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Alhaji Mutiu Are, on his appointment as a member of the Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
Alhaji Are was this week nominated as a member of the NEDC Board by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu subject to the screening and approval by the Senate. He was nominated to represent the South West region on the Board.
Honourable Ogundimu, a statement congratulating the GAC Secretary on his new appointment, said the appointment was a further confirmation of his leadership and organisational abilities.
“We’ve always known that you’re possess the needed leadership and organisational qualities and abilities to lead at the highest level. With this appointment, we’re happy that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu shared the same view with us,” he said.
Ogundimu stated further that he has no doubt that Alhaji Are will excel in his new assignment. “I wish you a successful reign in office sir,” he said.
