A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR has extended warm New Year greetings to Lagosians, describing 2026 as a year that will herald the start of a new energy and fresh ideas for a Progressive Lagos state and its people.

Reflecting on the outgoing year, JANDOR noted that 2025 witnessed deliberate and coordinated efforts by government at the federal and state levels to curb insecurity, stimulate economic growth, and improve the ease of doing business.

“These interventions have strengthened public confidence, supported enterprise, and reinforced Lagos’ position as Nigeria’s economic hub,” Adediran said.

He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his decisive leadership and reform-oriented policies aimed at stabilising the economy and enhancing national security.

He also commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for sustaining people-centred governance, infrastructure development, and policies that continue to make Lagos attractive for investment and innovation.

JANDOR eulogised the leadership of the All Progressives Congress at both national and state levels, describing the party as the stabilising force behind purposeful governance.

He specifically commended the National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and the Lagos State Chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, for their strategic leadership, unity of purpose, and commitment to strengthening internal democracy and effective governance.

Looking ahead to 2026, JANDOR assured Lagosians of a more prosperous year, marked by deeper security, expanded economic opportunities, and inclusive growth. He reaffirms his continuous engagement and contributions towards building a Lagos that is greater, progressive, and continually responsive to the aspirations of its people.

He urged residents to remain hopeful, united, and supportive of policies and leadership efforts aimed at delivering sustainable development and shared prosperity.
