A bitter dispute has erupted between the parents of late Yoruba Nollywood actress and content creator Adesanya Nimota Omotolani, popularly known as Nimmy Ferrari, over ownership of the newly completed house she left behind.

The 26-year-old actress died on Sunday, 6 September, 2026, in Sagamu, Ogun State, following reported complications from a surgical procedure.

Her death came days before a scheduled housewarming event for her newly completed residential property, where she was subsequently laid to rest.

Following her burial, the actress’s mother, popularly known as Mama Nimota, released a video online accusing her daughter’s paternal family of attempting to claim and sell off the house.

She alleged that the paternal relatives had abandoned her daughter during her hospitalisation and contributed nothing to her career or upbringing.

In response, the actress’s father, known as Baba Nimota, denied the allegations of financial exploitation and neglect.

He claimed he had assisted his late daughter in securing the ancestral land on which the house was built, disputing his former wife’s account of the property’s ownership.

The dispute over the late movie star’s estate continues to generate widespread reaction across social media platforms as colleagues and fans mourn her passing.
