The Royal Father of the Nigeria Golf Federation Summit, His Royal Highness Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, is expected to attend the second edition of the summit, scheduled to hold in Abuja for stakeholders and golfers across the country.

The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 27 August,and Friday, 28 August,2026, at the NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja, with President of the Nigeria Golf Federation, Otunba Segun Runsewe, disclosing that the gathering would be a highly glamorous one, citing confirmations already received from many of the dignitaries expected to grace the occasion.
Runsewe said the summit was expected to attract captains of industry, golf administrators, stakeholders and golf enthusiasts for what he described as a landmark gathering that would feature insightful discussions on developments, investments and the future of golf in Nigeria.
Chairman of Trobel Nigeria Limited, Lawal Garba, is the chairman of the summit, while former Osun State Governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and Senator Simon Bako Lalong are billed as special guests of honour at the event, which will be hosted by Runsewe.

Runsewe described the gathering as an opportunity to network and shape the future of golf in Nigeria, stressing that the summit would further boost excellence and partnership in the sport, while positioning the federation to change the face of golf in the country.
He said a number of corporate organisations were also being courted for the project, expressing optimism that more partnerships would help make the event bigger and better.
