I greet all our esteemed citizens of Lagos State, our distinguished leaders, and cherished members of our great party very warmly as I welcome you into this new year of prosperity and peace
As the curtain fell on 2025 a moment ago, we were relieved and comforted that the challenges and trials of that year have departed our lives and we have now become a new generation. The Almighty God has brought us safely into a new beginning where aspirations and expectations will be fulfilled and everyone’s hopes and dreams will be renewed. It is our prayer that this year will be better for all of us.
Fellow citizens, as we journey through this year, I implore you to be more committed to making our country stronger and better. We all have a duty to make Nigeria exceptional again so that you and I can live a better life and have a great country to bequeath to our children. I am confident that a new Nigeria is possible and achievable through our collective wisdom and dedication. A stronger, prosperous and more united Nigeria is my dream. Let’s make it work.
We salute His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Governor of Lagos State. Their leadership provides the platform upon which our party’s vision can be realized. Through them, we will continue to champion policies that uplift our nation.
As a responsible party, we in the APC reaffirm our commitment to peace, prosperity, and security for every corner of our country.
We believe in the capacity of the government of the day to move the country forward and will always support policies that unlock Lagos’s and Nigeria’s productive capacity.
We implore all citizens to rededicate our energies to the upliftment of our nation by cooperating with the Tinubu which has shown capacity and the commitment to lay a solid foundation for the country’s growth and prosperity. This is the time for us to rally round the government to make us defeat the enemies within and their cronies from outside.
This year, let us put politics aside and join hands with the government to defeat the known and hidden threats to our progress. The bandits, economic saboteurs, corrupt government officials, tax evaders, etc are all our enemies. Let us cooperate to defeat them once and for all. Do your bit by saying something whenever you see something.
May this new year mark the beginning of an era defined by unity, progress, and divine favor. May God bless you, may God bless Lagos, and may God bless Nigeria.
