The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Sekinat Oyebamiji, has expressed pride in her husband, Bola Oyebamiji, over the courage and resilience he displayed throughout the just-concluded governorship election, despite his defeat to Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Sekinat, in a tribute shared on her social media page, commended her husband for the strength, dedication and commitment he demonstrated during the electoral race, stressing that his effort alone made her proud to call him her husband, regardless of the outcome of the poll.

She recalled the countless hours, sacrifices and energy her husband invested in the campaign, noting that he consistently gave his best while standing firmly for what he believed in.

“My love Bola Oyebamiji, I am deeply proud of you and the strength, courage and resilience you displayed throughout the election. I saw firsthand the countless hours, sacrifices and energy you poured into the journey, always giving your very best and standing firmly for what you believed in,” she wrote.

Sekinat assured her husband that his loss at the polls did not diminish his worth, describing his determination, composure and commitment as an enduring source of inspiration to her.

“Whatever the outcome, you gave it your all, and that alone makes me incredibly proud to call you my husband. Your determination, composure and commitment continue to inspire me,” she added.

She encouraged the APC candidate to remain resolute despite the setback, describing the loss not as the end of his political journey but as another chapter in the story of the great things ahead.

“Keep your head high, my love. This is not the end of the journey; it is another chapter in the story of the great things ahead. I am proud of you today, tomorrow and always,” Sekinat stated.
