The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended the Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Senator Adolphus Wabara.
It was gathered that Wabara was suspended by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party in Abia State.
The decision, according to a party source, was taken during a meeting presided over by the State Chairman, Abraham Amah.
Amah, who confirmed Wabara’s suspension to an online medium , added that he would make the details available.
“Yes it is true, he has been suspended”, he said
This latest development is believed to be a continuation of the power play between loyalists of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and the party’s Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Wike’s man and former Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has firm control of the Abia PDP.
