Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P of the defunct music duo P-Square, has celebrated his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, with a romantic birthday tribute, dismissing recent speculations about the state of their marriage.
The singer made the tribute in a recent post via his official X handle, @PeterPsquare, describing his wife as his queen, his love and his forever. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful Queen, my love, my forever. I’m so blessed to have you by my side. I’d choose you over and over again, in every lifetime. Love you endlessly, my Queen,” he wrote, tagging her Instagram handle, @lolaomotayo_okoye.
The post has since drawn reactions from fans, many of whom described it as proof that the couple remained united despite online rumours suggesting otherwise.
A user, @Twosek001, commended Okoye for staying committed to his family, writing that he had “beat life home” while wishing Lola a happy birthday.
Another user, Altar Bound, defended the couple against claims that their marriage was collapsing, describing the speculation as baseless. The user explained that Lola is not on X, and that the handle referenced in Okoye’s post was her verified Instagram account, urging critics to desist from spreading unfounded rumours about the family.
A separate user, @MasculineTruth, also joined in celebrating Lola, describing her as “our wife” and thanking her for her support to Okoye, while praying that her efforts would not go unrewarded.
