The Oshodi-Isolo Chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has commissioned a new secretariat donated by Alhaji Comrade Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, as part of efforts to strengthen the organisation’s grassroots structure and administrative activities in the constituency.

The secretariat is expected to serve as a hub for coordination, meetings, public engagement and other organisational activities, while supporting the group’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.

The commissioning ceremony also featured the inauguration of the newly constituted Chapter Executive Committee, which was charged with coordinating the affairs of the organisation across Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo.

Speaking at the event, the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Coordinator, Barr. Kayode Tinubu, expressed appreciation to Akinsanya for his contribution towards providing a permanent secretariat for the chapter.

Tinubu said the new facility would provide the organisation with a dedicated space to strengthen its operations, coordinate activities and engage residents across the constituency.

The inauguration of the chapter executives marks another phase in the development of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ grassroots structure under the leadership of the Lagos State Coordinator, Mr. Tayo Ayinde.

Ayinde, while inaugurating the new executives, charged them to ensure effective communication of President Bola Tinubu’s achievements, mobilise voters and engage residents across the various wards and communities.

He urged the executives to strengthen grassroots participation and facilitate seamless communication between the organisation and residents of Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo.

The event was attended by APC leaders and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, including Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Chief Murainah Taiwo, Tayo Ayinde, Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Taoheed Taiwo, MC Oluomo, Alhaji Olorunoje, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe, Hon. Taiwo Ayedun Shanana, Tpl. Daisi Oso, Hon. Hakeem Shokunle and Special Leader Israel Akiode.

Also in attendance were traditional rulers, including the Ojon of Ejigboland and the Onikosi of Ikosi Awori, as well as political stakeholders, community representatives, religious leaders, ethnic nationality groups, progressive supporters and other invited guests.

The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots engagement, organisational development and constructive participation in political and community activities across Oshodi-Isolo.
