Several persons reportedly sustained severe bullet wounds during the attack, including one victim who lost a hand, and were subsequently rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
At the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained whether security agencies had arrested any suspects in connection with the operation.
