Former Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

Princess Orelope-Adefulire described the victory as a triumph not only for Tinubu, Shetimma and APC but also a confirmation of the mandate the people of Nigeria voluntarily gave to the President during the Saturday, 25 February, 2023 Presidential Election.

“It’s a sweet victory for us in the Progressives and we appreciate God for this. It’s a victory for democracy, Rule of Law and justice and overall a confirmation of the mandate the people of Nigeria gave to President Tinubu to lead them,” the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State said.

She also commended the five man panel of judges led by Justice Haruna Tsamani for their painstaking efforts in delivering the ruling with specific judicial reference to each allegations raised by the petitioners.

“It took the judges 12 hours to patiently and painstakingly explained why they’re throwing out demand and allegation raised by the petiotioners. They were transparent and displayed high level professionalism, patience and perseverance in the face of the huge intimidation and blackmail displayed by supporters of the petiotioners,” she said.

Princess Orelope-Adefulire urged Nigerians to rally round the President and support him in his efforts to take Nigeria to greater heights.
