The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has dismissed as false a report claiming that High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, donated 34 vehicles to the group in Katsina State.

In a statement, the group’s National Director of Publicity, Arc. A. K. Abdullahi, said the allegation, attributed to an outfit calling itself the “Good Governance Group,” was fabricated.

He challenged the group to produce evidence, including photographs or eyewitness accounts of the alleged donation.

Abdullahi said the claim emerged shortly after a visit by a Special Adviser to the President to Kafur Local Government Area, which he said drew a large turnout.

He attributed the reception to goodwill toward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, crediting the performance of the President’s appointees from the state, including Honourable Ibrahim Kabiru Masari and Minister of Housing Muttaqa Rabe.

He questioned the credibility of the “Good Governance Group,” describing it as faceless and alleging it was sponsored by political interests opposed to the administration.

He said the group had offered no proof for its claim.

On security, Abdullahi said the administration had recorded gains against banditry in the North-West, citing improved troop welfare, modern equipment and increased funding.

He said Katsina State had received particular attention from the federal government, and credited Radda with establishing the Community Watch Corps and committing resources to security operations.

On the economy, he cited the removal of the fuel subsidy, the introduction of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), and infrastructure projects including the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, alongside what he described as increased federal allocations to states.

Abdullahi urged Katsina residents to disregard the report, calling its authors politically motivated.

He reaffirmed TSG’s support for Tinubu and Radda ahead of the 2027 general election, saying the group would continue to counter what he termed misinformation targeting the administration.

The “Good Governance Group” had not responded to the allegations as of press time.
