Mohbad’s family through their lawyer has said that the late singer’s wife, Omowunmi should stop using the family surname, Aloba pending the outcome of the DNA test.

According to the lawyer, the family insisted that there was no customary marriage between Mohbad and Wunmi as the required Yoruba Bride Price was never completed.

The family is demanding a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s demise.

They now have a new lawyer, Oladayo Ogungbe for all estate and DNA-related matters while SAN Shittu deals with inquiries about Mohbad’s demise.

The family has also named three administrators that will manage Mohbad’s assets, royalties and musical intellectual property: Ajewole Aloba, Rasaq Famuyiwa and Alonge Aloba.

The family added that if the DNA confirms that Liam is Mohbad’s son, Wunmi and Liam will be recognized within the estate administration process.

A new burial and memorial date for Mohbad will be announced once legal and family matters are concluded.
