Member of the House of Representatives representing Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon Mansur Manu Soro, has condemned the ambushing and gruesome killing of Police personnel by armed bandits in Darazo LGA, one of his constituency.
Reacting to the development on Monday, 24 November, 2025, the Federal Lawmaker described it as, “A very sad and despicable situation, very condemnable in the worst of a barbaric behaviour thar must be checked.”
According to him, “I received the sad news on Saturday, it was indeed a painful situation, coming at a time we are focused on providing dividends of democracy to the teeming population of the Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency.”
Mansur Manu Soro called on security agencies in the State to partner, collaborate and get to the root of the unfortunate incident by fishing out the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
He assured that his Office is always ready to assist in any way required in order to ensure that residents of the area live in peace and tranquility to enable them harvest their farm produce and bring them home.
The Federal Lawmaker always uses the medium to condole the immediate families of those who were killed just as he wished those injured and receiving treatment, quick recovery.
He also expressed worries over increasing cases of armed banditry in the area especially the farmers and herders violent clashes that have continue to claim innocent lives on both sides.
He called for more engagements by stakeholders in order to stop the wonton killing of people thereby creating a bad image for the area.
Mansur Manu Soro, condole with the State Police Command and the immediate families of the dead Police personnel, praying Allah to grant their souls eternal rest.
