Representing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the 13th Golf and Tour Charity Association Tournament, themed, “Eko 2025”, the Director General of Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Lekan Fatodu said the central theme of the sporting event, which is focused on leveraging premium sports in plugging development gaps in the society is in line with the vision of the Governor Sanwo-Olu led administration to provide more opportunities for growth and social equity in Lagos State.
Fatodu added that the opening shot he made on behalf of the Governor to formally declare the tournament open equally symbolised the avowed commitment of the state government to be at the forefront of interventions that seek to elevate the conditions of the less privileged in the society through the activities and platforms of those seeking to partner with the government on development causes.
He extolled the Governor for his vision in developing sports in the state, which he noted, have started yielding positive results.
