The Renewed Hope Network has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections, while also throwing its weight behind Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as the next Governor of Lagos State.

The endorsement was announced on Thursday, 7 May, 2026 during a press conference addressed by the Director General of the Renewed Hope Network, Hon. Mohammed Oyinlomo Danmole.

The event, held ahead of the group’s planned congregational prayer session on Sunday 10 May, 2026 also served as a platform to unveil the organisation’s nationwide grassroots mobilisation strategy in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Danmole, who acknowledged the National Leader of the group, Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari; and the State Convener, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, described the Renewed Hope Network as a grassroots-driven political movement committed to mobilising support for President Tinubu across communities nationwide.

According to him, the organisation was established not as a conventional political structure but as a community-based mobilisation platform focused on engaging Nigerians at the grassroots level in their local languages and cultural settings.

“The Renewed Hope Network is not a conventional political organisation but a community-based mobilisation platform dedicated to networking the grassroots,” he said.

He explained that the group’s mission was to localise the Renewed Hope Agenda in every ward, polling unit, and community across the country, while promoting civic participation, political inclusion, national unity, and good governance through structured grassroots engagement.

Furthermore, Danmole disclosed that the organisation would host a grand congregational prayer for Nigeria and President Tinubu on Sunday, 10 May, 2026, noting that the gathering was expected to attract over 55,000 participants drawn from different geopolitical zones and faith-based organisations.

“As part of our strategic programmes, the Renewed Hope Network will hold a grand Congregational Prayer for Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday, 10 May, 2026,” he stated.

He added that the event would serve as a solemn platform for intercessory prayers for Nigeria’s peace, progress, and prosperity, as well as divine guidance and strength for the Tinubu administration.

“At this historic gathering, the Renewed Hope Network will formally and unequivocally endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Danmole declared.

He also confirmed the endorsement of Deputy Governor Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat for the Lagos governorship position, citing what he described as Hamzat’s proven capacity, vision, and commitment to the development of Lagos State.

The TRN Director General commended President Tinubu’s administration for implementing what he termed bold and far-reaching reforms across critical sectors, including the economy, infrastructure, education, security, social investment, and national productivity.

“Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated bold leadership through far-reaching reforms,” he said, adding that although the reforms might be challenging in the short term, they were repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and shared prosperity.

Danmole further assured that the Renewed Hope Network would intensify its grassroots mobilisation efforts through expanded community outreach and engagement with youths, women, market associations, artisans, farmers, and traditional institutions across the country.

He, however, called on Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation, to participate in the May 10 prayer programme in support of the nation and the President.

“Let us come together in faith and unity to pray for our President and our country as we prepare to take the Renewed Hope Agenda to greater heights,” he appealed.

According to him, the organisation remains committed to strengthening democracy and building a better Nigeria through sustained grassroots participation and national cohesion.
