As Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flags-off campaign for the Local Government elections in Warri South-West Local Government Area tomorrow, Chairmanship candidate of the party Chief Sylvester Oromoni has promised a big deal for the people.

In a statement on Tuesday, 18 June, 2024, to welcome leaders of the party to Ogbe-Ijoh for the flag-off exercise, Oromoni with his campaign theme tagged “Assurance 2024” urged the people to expect more if elected.

He said that his administration would focus on providing streetlights to light up communities, healthcare for sustainable living and human capital development in terms of welfare packages for the people.

He stressed that the growth and development of the people remains the highest calling of leadership and therefore would strive to ensure that the people’s welfare remained paramount in his administration if elected come July 13, 2024.

While thanking Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and party leadership in the state and local government for his choice as standard flag bearer of the party, Oromoni assured that he would not dissapoint the people if elected into office.

He urged party faithful in all the wards and people of the local government area to come out en-masse to welcome the party’s campaign train to Ogbe-Ijoh,  the council headquarters.
