Former Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Ganiyu Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi and House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. AbdulAzeez Yusuf (Popularly known as NINOLOWO) have dumped All Progressives Congress (APC) and Moved to Allied People’s Movement (APM) to realised their House of Assembly dream.
Recall that Egunjobi and Azeez were House of Assembly Aspirants of APC in the last Primaries that produced Hon. Oluwagbenga Abiola Omaco and Hon. Enimakure Akindele Sakiru .
Hotnews In Naija gathered that Egunjobi emerged as a candidate of APM in Substitution Primary result. He scored 138 votes to become the Candidate of APM for Agege Constituency 01.
In addition, Hon. AbdulAzeez Yusuf (Ninolowo) emerged as the Assembly candidate of APM for Agege Constituency 02 in the upcoming Lagos State House of Assembly,Nigeria Elections in 2027.
Ninolowo emerged with 11 votes.
All efforts to communicate with Egunjobi and Ninilowo to confirm their emergence proved abortive.
As a result of this, Egunjobi will be contesting against his former Vice Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Abiola while AbdulAzeez Yusuf will be contesting against candidate of APC for Agege Constituency 02, Hon. Shakiru Enimakure.
