Two male officers of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday, 29 May, 2023 slumped during a parade at the inauguration ceremony of the new Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas.It was gathered that the police officers were immediately moved out of the stadium for emergency medical checks where they were treated in a makeshift clinic located on the premises of the stadium.
It was also gathered that some of the Nigerian Red Cross officials who helped in conveying the officers to the makeshift clinic for treatment said the policemen slumped as a result of stress, exhaustion and tiredness as they were said to have been at the venue of the inauguration as early as 7am.
