The 2026 Commonwealth Games has unveiled its official volunteer uniform ahead of this summer’s event, offering a first look at what thousands of volunteers will wear as they support the delivery of the Games across the city.

The new kit is set to become a defining feature of Glasgow 2026, visible at venues and key locations as volunteers play their part in welcoming athletes and spectators from across the Commonwealth.

Organizers also presented uniforms for technical officials and Games staff, all designed and produced by Trespass, the event’s Official Uniform Provider.

In a key announcement, volunteers have been officially named “Legends,” a title that reflects their importance to the success of the Games.

The concept has been central to Glasgow 2026’s identity, linking the efforts of volunteers with the achievements of elite athletes and the wider spirit of the event. The theme is also connected to the Games mascot, Finnie the Unicorn, reinforcing a narrative built around inspiration, community, and shared stories.

The volunteers, now known as Legends, are expected to form a diverse and international workforce, contributing across all areas of the Games. Their role will be vital in ensuring smooth operations and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout Glasgow during the competition period.

With preparations continuing to gather pace, the unveiling of the volunteer uniform highlights not only the visual identity of Glasgow 2026 but also the people who will help define the experience of the Games.
