
The newly restored First Class traditional ruler in Lagos, Olu of Agboyi-Ketu, His Royal Majesty Oba (Engineer) Monsuru Abimbola Adekambi Oladega has presented the landed document to the Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Red Cross Society to build their office, reports thegazellenews.com
The event marked another significant era between the Agboyi community and the Red Cross.

The birth of the significant moment was born during the visit of Olu Agboyi to the word headquarters of the British Red Cross Society in London in 2023.
Welcoming his guests, the Olu Agboyi emphasised the significant role of the Red Cross Society across the world.

He also spoke on what he described as the unprecedented financial support to the people of Agboyi during the COVID-19 lockdown and the continuous financial support rendered to the small scale business owners in Agboyi Island.
He also acknowledged that the presence of the Red Cross in Agboyi Island will not only expose the potentials of Agboyi to the world, it will also foster everlasting legacy between Agboyi and the Red Cross International.
The state Chairman of Red Cross Society in Lagos State, Dr (Mrs) Adeola acknowledged the leadership style of Olu Agboyi, describing him as a seasoned and visionary leader.
He noted the Monarch’s visit to the British Red Cross Society headquarters had given birth to more positive support from the British Red Cross headquarters ro the Nigeria Red Cross.
She thanked Olu Agboyi for fulfilling the promise made in London during his visitation to the world British Red Cross headquarters in London in 2023.
She called on well meaning Nigerians to also take clues from the generosity of the olu Agboyi by supporting the activities of the Red Cross Society.
