Popular social counsellor Kami-J has been certified as a Social Worker by the Institute of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, Abuja, Nigeria, in a move that caps nearly 14 years of dedicated service to humanity.

The induction and investiture ceremony held on Saturday, 11 April, 2026, in Abuja, where Kami-J was also recognized as a Doctoral Fellow.
The institute is accredited by the American Council of Training and Development, ACTD.

Speaking on the milestone, Kami-J described the recognition as more than a personal achievement.
“This is not just an accomplishment, but a call to higher service,” Kami-J said. “It is an opportunity to do more, reach further, and transform lives on an even greater scale.”
The certified social worker said the event marked a significant moment of honor, resilience, and unwavering commitment to humanitarian service.
“It was not just a celebration of achievement, but a testament to years of compassion, sacrifice, and consistent impact in the lives of individuals and communities,” Kami-J added.
According to Kami-J, attaining the status of Doctoral Fellow in Social Work represents a major breakthrough that reflects professional excellence, personal growth, and a deep passion for service.
The counsellor noted that the achievement serves as a powerful motivation to continue making meaningful contributions, advocating for the vulnerable, and promoting sustainable development in society.
Beyond recognition, Kami-J stressed that the milestone opens new doors for greater responsibility, leadership, and influence in humanitarian and social development efforts.
“It reinforces the need to mentor others, inspire young professionals, and expand the reach of impactful initiatives,” Kami-J said.
